I love All Hands for so many reasons. People come from all over the world and give up their lives at home to help those affected by natural disasters. All Hands creates an atmosphere where you can be yourself and grow as a person as you branch out from your comfort zone and try new things. I've never experienced a place where you can think of an idea, no matter how ambitious it is, share it with people, and gain their support instantly. Every volunteer comes from a different background which makes this place special because we bring so many skills and talents to the table and all come together for the same reason - to help the people who need us. Deep down we are just a bunch of kids with hearts bigger than our heads, who leave the egos at the door and enter with the willingness to do anything to get these jobs done. I love this organization!!
