I have worked on several sea turtle projects, and this by FAR was the most professional and meaningful. Here, it is the science and the reserach that counts - I felt like I was positively contributing to the future of the project - rather than just being treated like a tourist as in many projects. The work is quite tough - but then most conservation work is. The staff were extremely knowledegable and keen to involve volunteers in all aspects of the project and the community. I would definately go back, and play a bigger part in sea turtle conservation.
