I've been a volunteer at Furever Friends Rescue for just over two months and I have to say I absolutely love it! All of the volunteers and staff are just so friendly and welcoming. The mission is wonderful as well. As the owner of three wonderful dogs, I would be devastated if something happened to me where I couldn't take care of them anymore, and I had no idea what would happen to them. The thought of any of my dogs ending up in the pound just makes me cringe. So I love the fact that we take in dogs and cats from owners who have no choice but to surrender them. We truly do all we can to make the animals as comfortable as possible. We can't do everything, but we make sure their area is clean, they have food and fresh water, they have toys and blankets, they get love, and that the dogs go out on walks multiple times a day. We also keep the dogs and cats with us until they get adopted. We will not kill or get rid of them simply to make space. All of our animals are wonderful, loving, and deserve a loving home. We make sure that these animals have the chance to find their forever home.
