I stared volunteering a little over a year ago . I can tell you the cats and dogs are well cared for in a clean place. we all work hard to keep the animals clean and healthy. But for me the best part is spending time with every one of them, to get to know their personalities and knowing if their not feeling well or if they want to play or just want someone to set with them for awhile . FFR is a great place to be while they are waiting for there forever home. I retired here and left my family in Il. but I found a new one at FFR
