I found Furever Friends online and decided to ask if I could volunteer. The management and volunteer staff are all friendly and compassionate. They truly care about every animal there. Furever Friends provides a unique service to the community as it takes in animals who have belonged to individuals facing assisted living, nursing homes, hospice or those dealing with the death of a loved one, and therefore can no longer keep an animal with them. The animals seem quick to show they appreciate the good care and attention they receive while waiting for their forever families.
