I volunteered recently as Minnie's, having had no previous experience or knowledge of the organization, and I was blown away. Minnie's is truly unique in its endeavors to make each person walking through the door feel special, rather than ashamed as many feel when receiving food at other places. The red carpet, the smiles on everyone's faces, and the overall enthusiasm create a welcoming environment for both customers and volunteers. The organization is extremely organized and the facilities were spotless. I left that day feeling like I had truly made a difference. Minnie's is a wonderful organization with great values. I encourage those who are interested to donate to Minnie's and take the time to volunteer to see just what an impact your donations have on so many lives.
