In addition to our two "house cats" we sponsor four at Shadow Cats ranging from a senior (Huey) to a shy feral rescue (Mia). Being fortunate enough to live not far from the sanctuary I have visited a couple of times to see my "adopted" family in the fur. Shadow Cats is very transparent about their work and their care and love shows when you meet the cats and their Kitty Nannies as they are known. The daily tasks of keeping the sanctuary running (have you tried feeding 90 cats ?) run with cheerful clockwork. In addition to their residents, SC also regularly assist one off calls for help from other individuals or rescues with advice and or donations from their One Life Fund for emergency situations. It's a tricky balancing act making sure fundraising keeps the lights on and I take my hat off to them. If you want to sponsor a cat, and can visit, you will be sure of a furry welcome...
