The work that Apopo does is truly inspiring. And I love how they engage with the public with updates and simple things like 'full cheek Fridays' - but behind it all you know that some of the work they are doing is and can be dangerous. Congratulations has to go out to them on their most recent achievement with their work in Mozambique, with it recently having been declared mostly landmine free, and it's not just their work with the landmines that is inspiring. The work that they do with detecting Tuberculosis in samples that had previously been checked and past as 'ok' means that those people can get the treatment that they need. Adopt a rat it will be the most rewarding thing that you ever do, they do amazing work that saves lives and limbs everyday.
