I have found USITT to be of great value as a bridge between the academic and business sides of the creative entertainment fields. It helps educate and establish standards within our diverse industry. In my early career I found it informative and encouraging, while through out the years it has been - and continues to be - a great networking source. Our industry, like many, operates on relationships. I have found that USITT provides the groundwork for a growing network of new incoming talent and reliable established resources.
