CRESLI is a fantastic organization. With whale watches in the summer and seal walks in the winter, CRESLI constantly helps people connect to the environment that is in their backyard. Staff are fun, knowledgeable, and good at spotting stuff.

While summer whale tours are a bit of a drive for most Long Islanders (boat leaves from Montauk Harbor) success rates are high and you have the opportunity to see lots of critters - whales, dolphins, sharks (potentially including hammer head, blue, basking), sun fish, sea turtles (kemps ridley, leatherback), and tons of birds!
