I volunteered for the organization in September, 2015 and was very impressed with the way the volunteers were utilized. The morning began with training and information about the organization and then we were split into groups. I assisted with filling food boxes for distribution. Everyone (volunteers & staff) was extremely helpful, upbeat and friendly. That on top of the fact that everything was so well organized made me feel like I had really made a contribution. I have volunteered for many organizations in my lifetime, but this was one of the most positive & rewarding experiences I have had. I will definitely do it again!
