I was visiting Phuket and found a very ill dog. Someone suggested taking her to Soi Dog foundation, which I did, and they were FANTASTIC!!! They healed her! We stayed in touch and a friend of mine in Mass. said she would adopt her! "Cami" was flown from Phuket to the USA and I met her at JFK!!! She was the sweetest most wonderful dog, ever! She was transformed from a sick street dog to a beautiful house dog and lived a beautiful life! THANK U, SOI DOG!!!

Peta is always willing to help any animal in need. And they will always help you immediately!
One of their employees jumped into a canal to save a duck that was entangled in netting.
Their volunteers rescued a pigeon that was hanging upside down at the top of a tree, having had his leg caught in the branch.
They told a young schoolgirl to "follow her heart "when she didn't want to dissect a frog. She cried and her teacher gave the frog. The frog was later released in a beautiful country stream where he lived happily ever after! They are the most compassionate people on the planet. And they deserve credit for saving many many lives.

The staff at PETA and founder Ingrid Newkirk are the most courageous people I've ever met. No animal is too small or too large to protect! They are available 24/7 to help the animals and will never let them down or the people who reach out for help. They are strong and determined and work with great professionalism. I've received calls from PETA asking for help in my city, to: rescue a pigeon stuck high in a tree and a mouse stuck in a glue trap. The list goes on. Not only are they strong in the USA but around the world. They've rescued animals who've fallen into deep wells in India, street dogs who've had no one there to protect them. Right now, they are rescuing animals from the floods in Louisiana. Their motto says it all - "animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment or abuse in any way." I've never been more proud to support such an exceptional organization. They have my deepest respect and admiration. May they go on forever until not one animal is suffering. Thank you, PETA!!

I know the founder of this group and keep in touch through FB. The organization has saved endless lives and brought animals back from the brink of death, with love, care and lots of medical treatment. They are gentle, wise, loving and the animals respond in kind. It is a remarkable group and deserve the highest of praise and support.
