Hi my name is Sierra Hale and I'm a former foster youth. I had a casa well two 1 for 3 or 4 years and the other for a couple of month, well my last few months leading up to me aging out. Both of them were so so so so helpful to me; the first one went up and beyond to make sure I was ok she was like a second mom. We talked about every thing, went out to eat every time we met up she took me prom shoe and jewelry shopping, she was young beautiful and had a good heart. You could tell she really wanted to help. She answered her phone all hours of the night if I needed her and mad sure I was always on track with everything. I swear I love that lady she and her husband help me get some of my college books, me her daughter and her went to the black universal soul circus for my Casa birthday. lol. We did a lot and spend a lot time to together and every time we met up there was never and paper and all this writing like a plain worker, but you can tell she was listening and listening well because her court report was always accurate. My other casa was wonderful as well she would call just to check up on me, we would also go out to eat and talk and laugh. She has well went up and beyond she helped make corrections on my resume, tried helping me find a secure job, brought a temp phone she mines broke and gave me money for groceries Herr and there but aside from the materialistic things these two women impacted me and my life as a wholle and I'm very very thankful for them. Also Casa it self help me move when I aged out and get things for around my new apt. There just great!!!!!
