What an incredible group of people whose dedication to the animals in their care and the education of the public is unparalleled! It really says something that their mission is to one day make the need for such facilities obsolete. The staff and volunteers work tirelessly to improve the situations of not only the residents of the Big Cat Rescue, but also those elsewhere in the country; actively petitioning on State and Federal levels to advocate for big cats and against those who would seek to exploit them. Between community outreach programs and an active social media presence, they have made great strides and it is refreshing to see how their efforts to educate and act have made such a difference already.
