When my son passed away 2 years ago we knew, without a doubt, that we wanted our friends and family to donate to Big Cat Rescue in lieu of flowers, etc. Jeff, who manages donations there took us on a tour of the rescue and very graciously ordered plaques to honor our son. My son, Sid, loved the rescue. He took all his out of town friends there when they came to Tampa to visit. The work they are doing is terrific and the animals are well cared for. Their advocacy for the cats is a tremendous effort and they do it tirelessly. Educating the public on how owning these animals can harm the animals is also a huge effort on their part.
