When we adopted our wonderful Scoop we knew he was healthy and had received excellent veterinary care from the time he was rescued by DRBC. The adoption process was clear, thorough, and reassuring. We were given full instructions for feeding, care, training, and health, and when we had additional questions after Scoop had joined our family, the friendly and helpful DRBC staff had our backs. It is clear to us that DRBC's goal is to facilitate a loving, lasting match between dog and adopter. They know how to make matches of the heart, and I can't recommend them more highly.

After having been a regular donor for over a year, observing this organization from the outside, I decided about 7 months ago to get more involved. I began fostering a doxie, and shortly after that I joined the volunteer staff. DRBC trains and supports a large network of foster families and sanctuary homes, provides for all needed medical care and rehabilitation, and works tirelessly to find the perfect match between dogs and adopters. They contribute an unbelievable amount of personal time and effort to helping these dogs, many of whom would otherwise die alone, unloved, and in pain. It is a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable and dedicated group of people.
