Their briefings on Capitol Hill are phenomenal, their factsheets and newsletters are incredibly informative, and the genuine passion of their staff is infectious. Carol Werner is known throughout the industry as one of the most knowledgeable, well-respected, and undeniably-empathetic leaders within the environmental and energy community and her initiative has yielded an organization with the prodigious ability to enact positive change for present and future generations alike. There are many problems in this field that the world will have to face for years to come, but its organizations like EESI that restore my faith in our ability to meet these challenges head-on.
