I have been a volunteer at PHS-SPCA since 2009. I have volunteered in numerous areas including kitten nursery, wildlife and at the PHS-SPCA Thrift store, Pick of the Liter. The employees and volunteers all genuinely care for animals and go above and beyond the call of duty to help a sick, injured or lonely animal. They are friendly and dedicated. Volunteering for SPA-SPCA has been a very rewarding experience.

Spring through fall, I foster kittens....as a foster there's never a better day than when one of your fosters gets adopted. The kittens up for adoption have been given hours of love prior to you adopting them.

We have also been on the other side, as a client.... We have adopted 4 animals from PHS-SPCA ...3 cats and one dog. They are friendly, healthy and happy and bring joy to us every day. The adoption process was thorough but the forms are pretty quick to fill out. We were able to spend a lot of time interacting with our cats and dogs prior to adopting them. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our dog loves coming back to say hi:)
