Review for VFW National Home , Eaton Rapids, MI, USA
It was October 1996, when the Proud Veterans Motorcycle Club came into existence. Shortly thereafter we came to a decision as to which organization we would contribute to, and this is THE ONE. We do an annual benefit to raise money to donate to The Home every year, and we normally present the check in October at their annual meeting in Eaton Rapids. A lot of our members also donate clothing and other items to The Home throughout the year. Whenever we stop by to visit The Home, either individually or as a group, we always get the red-carpet treatment. It is a great feeling to know that our organization can make a difference to this organization and the kids. We are very thankful that The VFW National Home for Children exists and is not far from us.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing how these children are doing, and how many have gone on to bigger and better things.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
have a real hard time finding what to change !!!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
everything from seeing the kids, to attending benefit concerts, and visiting the replica of the VietNam Wall that was on display at The Home in Eaton Rapids, MI.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
always very professional, courtious, and helpful, as they go above and beyond the call of their duties.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand its' capacity to help more children on a regular basis, for years and years to come.
Ways to make it better...
I had more money to donate.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
keeping the everyday activities going, with the economy the way that it is.
One thing I'd also say is that...
it has been an honor to be a part of an organization that has been able to help support The VFW National Home for quite some time.
