My Nonprofit Reviews

Peninsula Humane Society, Burlingame, CA offers a lot with passion and commitment. I have been volunteering there for now more than 4 years. I am a behind the scene volunteer, working in their donation center which is utilized to raise funds for the animals. I feel proud that whatever we are able to raise goes directly towards the welfare of the animals. I have a full time job, and I have been able to maintain my volunteer hours with them only due to their flexibility, and open hearts. Each of us has some skill, time, love, to give and I feel that PHS exhibits in a perfect form how to utilize what each one of us has to offer. PHS has also provided me a window to the selfless people who work there, on a daily basis, and has been a lesson in how to create a successful community. I look forward to going there and feel that it is one of the best nonprofits I have come across.
