Run by Sayydah Garrett and Samuel Siriria Leadismo, Pastoralist Child Foundation is a streamlined and efficient grass roots organization, making a direct and tangible daily impact on communities in Kenya. With their vision of educating girls and eradicating the outdated ancient rituals of FGM and forced early marriage, they are introducing a new, positive way of life to their own community and opening up life-altering opportunities for girls. Working from within, through community education and Siriria Leadismo's influence as a Samburu warrior, Pastoralist Child has made a profound impact in a short time. I'm excited to see where they'll be in 5 years, as the effects of their feet-on-the-ground work spreads.
