Pacific Primate Sanctuary (PPS) is a compassionate organization, dedicated to the wellbeing of the monkeys. Every monkey receives individualized care to meet their needs, including specialized diets, medications and supplements, and customized enclosures. The Sanctuary isn't open to the public, allowing the monkeys to live a peaceful existence. It has been an honor to be a part of this organization for over 16 years.

I am honored to be a part of the PPS community. I have volunteered at the Sanctuary in many roles, acting as a caregiver, manager, and board member. The attention to detail, compassion and care that go into every aspect of the Sanctuary's work are truly one of a kind. The Sanctuary, all of the monkeys and all of the volunteers hold a very special place in my heart.

Pacific Primate Sanctuary is a place of compassion, love and understanding for all the animals that have found a home there. The staff (composed entirely of Volunteers) all have one goal in mind- the wellbeing of the monkeys. Every task, from cutting up produce for breakfast, to cleaning enclosures, is done with purpose and passion. This creates an environment that is ideal for healing and rehabilitation. The monkeys at PPS have come from tourist attractions, the pet trade and research laboratories. At PPS, these animals will never have to experience pain or suffering at human hands. I consider it an honor to be a part of this wonderful organization.
