I have gleaned with Society of St. Andrews for about 6 years. I believe in their mission to help get good, nutritious fruits and vegetables (which would normally be disposed of) to people who are in need. Many foods donated to food banks are high in carbs, over processed, and high in sodium. America needs a diet with fresh apples, green beans, egg plants, tomatoes, turnips, pumpkins-- All of which I have gleaned through SOSA here in Virginia
