These guys do the most incredible job of matching need with an excess of supply. They provide through the gleaning network and many volunteers the means for good but excess produce to reach those who need it most. This helps the growers who need to dispose of excess produce and provides healthy food for those in need. They also do this for a phenomenally low overhead so that donations go to help those in need. I have been a supporter of SOSA for over 30 years and have never had any reason to regret supporting them. They continue to amaze me with what they can accomplish.
