Review for Northwest Boxer Rescue, Woodinville, WA, USA
NWBR stands out as one of the best run and most effective volunteer organizations I have seen. I have had a love affair with boxers for many years and with no paid staff, no brick & mortar facility, and operating throughout 5 states - dogs in need are identified, evaluated, transported, placed in an appropriate foster home and receive medical care as needed. In an emergency situation, all of this can happen in less than 24 hours. Every volunteer that I have worked with is so passionate about these precious dogs and the transformations in the lives of these boxers is amazing to watch. Frightened, sick, abandoned, abused and unwanted dogs receive love, gain confidence, get medical care and training and are able to have a second chance in a new forever home. It doesn't get much better than that!!
