The people involved in rescuing, sheltering, rehabilitating, and re-homing these boxers are AMAZING!
It is run by volunteers with all dogs placed in foster homes until their new permanent homes can be found.
The dedication they have for the breed expands many state lines as new dogs in high kill shelters or deplorable situations are located they go out of their way to make sure those dogs are rescued.
There are people needed to:
transport (from shelter to shelter, or even daily trips to vet appointments)
foster
evaluate potential adopters
process paperwork
social media advertising and keep available dog posts current
volunteer to run booths at local events to help spread the word
etc.
As I said, this group is amazing! Thank you NWBR for finding my first boxer boy to love (now I'm hooked!)
