I cannot begin to express how life-changing adopting my Iggy (Kopi) has been. Coming home to his wagging tail, goofy smile, and unconditional love has improved the quality of my life considerably. I know it sounds cliche, but I cannot imagine what life would be like without an Italian Greyhound in it.

My search for an Iggy started over a year ago when my husband and I decided that we wanted a companion for our dog, Piper. I had researched the breed and knew that an Iggy would be the perfect addition to our family. I was determined to rescue, so I turned to the California Italian Greyhound Rescue. I got in touch with Roxann and completed the application process. I was ecstatic when she informed me that our application was approved! I took comfort in the fact that the IGCA took great care in matching IG's to the perfect home. Knowing that there is an organization out there dedicated to helping re-home Italian Greyhounds filled me with a restored faith in humanity.

Our entire experience adopting Kopi was wonderful. I thank the universe every day for bringing both dogs into my life, but I am especially grateful to Roxann and the IGCA for the role they played. I whole-heartedly support this organization and I can only hope that the search for my next Iggy will be with them.
