Blind Cat Rescue is a blessing, providing not only shelter, but entertainment, affection, continuous medical care and a second chance at a happy life for so many wonderful cats who would otherwise be homeless or killed simply because they are blind. Through their delightful newsletter/blogs and video posts, even friends and fans of the kitties can visit the shelter, meet the cats, learn their stories and individual personalities, observe their ongoing care and progress and- best of all!- see firsthand how they thrive in this happy and healthy environment! (Visitors are welcome in-house, as well; There are plenty of purrs and head-bumps to go around!) While ALL shelters helping needy creatures are worthy places, I have to say that Blind Cat Rescue is truly something special. They have gone above and beyond, and brought much joy to little lives with an issue that (although common in cats) is far to often- no pun intended- overlooked. And delivered many smiles to us "fans" of the cats as well
