Unfortunately, many blind cats are deemed not adoptable by regular shelters just because they are blind. The Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary gives these kitties a second chance at life by providing them with love, shelter and medicine if needed. The BCR also provides a safe sanctuary for FELV+ & FIV+ cats, too. I love that this place is so committed to saving the lives of helpless animals. Their weekly newsletters are awesome, because they're very thorough in providing updates as to the status of each kitty that's taken in. By donating to the BCR, I take pride in knowing what little I can spare is always put to good use.
