I have volunteered for Prairieland Anti-Cruelty Program for several months, especially summers. Judy, the director and founder of the program is a delight and a pleasure to work with. She is always able and willing to help you learn (slowly and clearly) the specific tasks of caring for the shelter animals. The program has been around since 1994 and has helped, saved, and nurtured thousands of animals - so they must be doing something right.
