A co-worker of mine told me about the Blind Cat Rescue and I followed them on Facebook. Their organization takes such tender loving care of cats that most shelters would euthanize, pampering them and giving them a loving forever home. Alana, who runs the rescue, is always looking for ways to raise funds so they can accept more cats in need, and she supports other rescues as well. The fact that they have open houses shows their pride in what they do as well as transparency. Truly a worthy organization.
