I have been working with Mustangs To The Rescue (MTTR) since 2012. MTTR is an incredible organization that was established to help prevent abuse, neglect and abandonment of at-risk horses. We work with community members, as well as local, state and national authorities to discover at-risk horses and encourage people to re-home horses they can no longer care for properly. We help the local community by providing care, rehabilitation, training and rehoming of previously unwanted, abused and neglected horses, and provide horse owners and potential horse owners with assistance, educational opportunities and resources to ensure safe and secure homes for our equine partners. We believe that by providing educational opportunities that promote public education and awareness, develop horsemanship skills and responsible horse ownership; we can make a greater impact on the health and welfare of the horses in our community.
