Review for Veterans Airlift Command, Saint Louis Park, MN, USA
I have been associated with the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) for the last 15 months. They are a class organization that provides transportation services for our wounded veterans. They work closely with other veteran groups such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Veteran Outdoors, and they also work directly with individual veterans. All these groups focus on helping our wounded veterans in their transition back into civilian life by providing special activities and services and in the case of VAC, helping them travel to and from those activities. The VAC Staff is superb and works tirelessly to arrange air transportation all over the U.S. and often will little or no notice. I am very proud to be able to work with this fine group of folks and to be able to serve the wounded vets that have given so much for the rest of us.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Help them get more voluntees so they can expand the number of missions they can handle.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to help the folks that have given so much for this great country.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
absolutely wonderful. They are dedicated, caring, and professional. They are all just great folks!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide services to more veterans and reach out to more volunteers to help accomplish that.
Ways to make it better...
Every experience I have had with the VAC has been top notch. No complaints of any kind.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting the word out about the opportunities for civilians and businesses to get involved and be able help the veterans that have protected and defended us for so long.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The VAC is a great orgainzation providing a great service to the men and women who have served their country with such dedication. My hat is off to the veterans and to the VAC!
