Review for Mercy Medical Angels, Virginia Beach, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Recently, a gentleman that had requested air transportation for his brother wrote the following note to MMA. "Dear MMA, You lifted my brother up and flew him home so he might go home to God from here". It was a simple expression of appreciation for the air transportation MMA provided but it captured the essence of what MMA is all about; providing caring and timely transportation for those in need. The gratitude expressed by this gentleman best illustrates the results and outcomes of MMA's efforts each day in providing patients and family members the transportation needed for each unique case. As a Board member, I am privileged to witness this compassionate service to hundreds of patients each month.

Review for Air Compassion for Veterans, Virginia Bch, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Served 30 years in the Air Force including two combat tours. Personally experienced the trauma and stress that affects our men and women wounded in combat. ACV flys our wounded warriors to/from specialized treatment centers when no other organization is equipped to do so. ACV also provides air transport for a wounded warrior's family members to with them at the treatment facility. It is my privilege to support ACV financially and as a member of an affliated board.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

angels and heroes in thier own right. The pilots donate their time and aircraft willingly to fly these woulnded warriors. The staff of ACV are true "behind the scene" patriots as they insure each warrior is taken care of.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
