As a volunteer and advisory board member, I see this organization living its mission of helping veterans everyday in Houston, Texas. Donations are used to assist veterans in job training, educational opportunities, on-site mental health counselors (to assist hundreds of veterans in a housing complex), housing assistance and other needs. Donations are also used to hire veterans as employees for U.S. Vets. Veterans are the counselors, administrators, etc., so your donations are used to cover administrative costs by hiring veterans to help veterans. While I am not a veteran (daughter of a veteran), I am extremely proud to give to this organization knowing that it is committed to changing veterans' lives for the better in Houston!!
