I am sItting in a classroom filled with teens and watching them talk honestly about their parents, their experiences, and their lives. Amid the stories of want, neglect, and sometimes violence, I begin to see a nod of understanding, a hand raised to ask a question, and a general shift in the tone and tenor of the whole group. I start to hear talk about planning, responsibility, parenting skills, and finances. I hear voices that speak about hope and achievable dreams not only for themselves but for their future families. This is what EDUCATION FOR SUCCESSFUL PARENTING provides, the tools and skills to make that dream a possibility. Serving on the board of ESP has given me these moments that say "YES, I can make a difference!" ESP has taught over 200 of these classes on both the East and West coasts and impacted over 6,500 teens, parents, educators, and professionals. This is what ESP can do.
