Review for Ssubi Foundation aka Ssubi is Hope, San Diego, CA, USA
I began working with SSUBI in 2014, and this nonprofit organization has successfully reused and recycled almost 15 tons of excess medical supplies and equipment from the San Diego VA Healthcare System. SSUBI is protecting the environment by diverting excess medical supplies from the landfill or scrap yard. These excess medical supplies improve access to health care around the globe, especially Laura's beloved clinic in Uganda. Laura has established an amazing network of hospitals and healthcare professionals that support her mission and donate excess medical supplies to insure global access to basic medical care. During her initial year of operation in 2014 as a medical supply recycling vendor, Laura and her team successfully recycled over 137 tons from southern California medical facilities. She is a "dumpster diva" and a "recycling champion."
