Review for SEE International, Santa Barbara, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

SEE international provides the greatest impact for your dollars donated as it enables a blind person to see; thus permanently changing ones life and the care givers supporting that person.

Review for SEE International, Santa Barbara, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

SEE continues to grow serving blind people worldwide. The value proposition of donating $25 to enable a blind person to see and enabling their caregivers freedom from caring for that person forever is one that can't be matched!

Review for SEE International, Santa Barbara, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

SEE has been performing cataract surgery for 35 years and restored sight at no cost for more than 370,000 disadvantaged people in third world countries. Our operational cost is a mere $108 per surgery with a value proposition that is one of the greatest of all not for profit organizations. Last year we freed over 14,000 people from blindness, up 40% from the previous year. There are over 600 dedicated surgeons donating their services for this noble cause serving over 100 location per year. It would be wonderful if all people could look beyond themselves and their pettiness and passionately serve humanity as this organization has successfully done for decades.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

its growth serving more people in more places in the last few years than ever.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the reward of freeing up 3 people to continue their lives by enabling a person to see, especially those unfortunates that usually have no hope in their lives for help.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help more people that basically have little hope of a pleasant existence in life. There are millions of blind people that could benefit and break the poverty cycle if the organization had more funding.

Ways to make it better...

we could get more people to participate as advocates of SEE in both donating their time as well as financial resources.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

time and money.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
