My family and I got involved with Guide Dogs of Texas when we rehomed one of their training dogs, Bailey. Our lives have been blessed by Bailey and the hard work that the Guide Dogs staff did to train her. She is an incredible dog!! So smart, loving and obedient.
Since then I have volunteered my time to the organization to give back in a variety of ways. I enjoy working with the staff, meeting clients and helping the organization to have a bigger presence in the state.
The highly trained dogs they provide to those in need are absolutely amazing. They change people's lives and allow them to be independent. Their match program makes sure clients get the right dogs and vice versa.
