Review for Kyle David Miller Foundation, Confier, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This foundation is truly amazing in every way. Started in such sad terms, this family made the very best of what happened to them. We were lucky enough to have been helped by the foundation with seats for all of our children. Our older, two who were at the time in boosters. The night I watched Kyles video I cried, not knowing what I could do for my children. I applied and we were blessed with help. Our older two were helped first and then our younger kids were given seats when they were nearing the weight limits, within 1-2 lbs and their seats were both about to expire being hand me downs from my older kids. I was so moved and inspired by this most amazing act I started learning everything I could about child passenger safety and was able to take the class and become a CPST. I was more than honored when I was asked if I would help the foundation and love helping them in any way I can and look forward to helping them in the future. Giving a family a car seat for their child is more than just a way to restrain them in the car. Its insurance, an insurance that helps their child survive if they are in a crash. Its the best feeling in the world to give someone.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

All the families they have helped, all the seats that they have been able to get out to families that couldn't otherwise get them on their own.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Do everything just the same. You don't change something that is great already.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The feeling it gives me - both in knowing my kids are safe in Kyles honor and memory and that I am able to be a part of something so wonderful.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Everyone involved with the foundation is great!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Keep more kids safe and restrained then ever imagined.

Ways to make it better...

It was perfect, you don't get better than that.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Making enough money to get seats to all the families on the waiting list.

One thing I'd also say is that...

THANK YOU TO THE KYLE DAVID MILLER FOUNDATION.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2008

Role:  Volunteer & First we were a family in need who was helped by the foundation, and now I am a CPST and an advisory CPST to the foundation.
