Review for Asheville Humane Society, Asheville, NC, USA
Asheville Humane Society (AHS) is doing remarkable things not only with the homeless animal population in Buncombe County but with families who need help in order to keep their pets from becoming homeless. AHS is providing quality of life education in depressed areas making pets and their guardians healthier and happier. Their foster care program is the best I have seen in my 10 years of animal welfare work. So many lives have been saved and/or enriched through the Lilly Grace Fund (my favorite cause) that it is remarkable. I personally foster mama cats, kittens and adult ailing cats until they are ready to be adopted. This is most rewarding! I am a donor, a volunteer and a foster. I fully support AHS in all ways possible. I have also adopted from AHS and will continue to send anyone seeking a forever feline or canine companion to AHS. I know the quality of medical care and treatment each animal receives before being offered for adoption is the best.
