IDRF has far exceeded my expectations in terms of an NGO based in USA, that helped me send donation for 'the cause of my choice' to the NGO-partner in India. I spoke with Dr. Vinod Prakash the founder and president of IDRF on the phone and was very impressed by his enthusiasm and tireless efforts to help out the underprivileged in India and Nepal. I was very surprised to learn that despite his visual impairment, he is able to work hard to make sure the hard earned money of the donors based in the USA, is sent directly to the beneficiaries in India and Nepal.
