It is a true honor to volunteer for such an amazing organization. These athletes are striving through this program. I am an ice hockey goalie. When I volunteered I hung out near the goalie one night and he told me how was so depressed he didn't want to live. after finding the LI sled hockey team he has become an inspired athlete and loves the game again. This organization promotes camaraderie and confidence. It supplies exercise & competitive well being. What an hour to share the ice with such heroes who get to play the game they love. Go Rough Riders!!!
