I welcomed the chance to write a review of the Hanson Kiwanis Group. I am the director of operations for the Hanson Food Pantry. Not only have they been regular supporters over the years, they have recently given us tremendous help when we needed it most. In 2014 when we were struggling to complete renovations on our new pantry site at 228 High Street they ran a tremendous fundraising campaign that raised almost $11,000 dollars for us and many of their members also put in sweat equity hours to help with the chores that had to be done. This year they helped us with our mailing expenses for our town wide appeal letter.
Not a year has gone by in my career as a volunteer, that I haven't heard kudos about this group for their various projects and community involvement. Congratulations on a job well done Hanson Kiwanis Club! We are so thankful for all that you have done for the people who come to the Hanson Food Pantry each week!
