Hi my name is Jen. My husband Dave and I were evicted from our place and we were at a hotel for a few weeks. we were put in jail for a night. when we got out, we were told to contact Jim. we were initially told it was just gonna be for one night. Then jim decided to let us stay for more than that, he had us do an intake and we have been here ever since. I love being at the mission. It is like a big family, not like I had pictured a homeless shelter at all. The people here are AMAZING!!!!! The mission is an amazing place to be!!
