Review for Progressive Animal Welfare Society of Bainbridge Island & North Kitsap, Bainbridge Is, WA, USA
My mini long-haired Dachshund, who is my constant companion and best friend, has some as yet unknown health issues. Since I'm disabled, live alone and live on a very small fixed income, it's not always possible to get him to the vet when he needs it. Because of my circumstances, it breaks my heart that my best friend in the world has to suffer because I can't afford to give him the care he needs. PAWS stepped in and provided funds that were so desperately needed. Although he still needs x-rays, and blood work that I am unable to pay for, I am forever greatful for the assistance from PAWS. Each visit to his vet, gets us a little closer to getting him 100% healthy again. Please keep up the wonderful work you do, and once again I would like to express how thankful I am that there is such a place as PAWS!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Do whatever I had to do, to get the vets to lower the outreagously high charges for low income, elderly and disabled people so they can afford to keep their pets healthy.
