I always have had a passion for non-profit work and am so proud to be a part of the Clinica Verde team. I met founder, Susan Dix Lyons, through my college and thought that this would be a great opportunity for me to be involved in something greater, more meaningful. The past year I have worked with Clinica Verde, I realized that in comparison to many other non-profits that I worked for in the past, Clinica Verde is in constant pursuit to better themselves as an organization so that they can provide the best care. From planning multiple fundraisers throughout the year, to listening to talks from philanthropic leaders, and to researching different ways to engage supporters, everything is done in order to be the best help there is for their many patients. Clinica Verde is proactive in finding ways to be the best model of health-care for the Nicaraguan people.
