We adopted our big boy Conan in 2003 (formerly "Ripley"). I was originally attracted to other cats in the shelter, but the volunteer I spoke with steered me towards a cat that she felt was a better fit. She did a superb job of considering our boys needs and matched him with the right household. He was a handful at times but brought us many years of joy. Sadly we lost him to cancer a few weeks ago. Because I had such a great experience with this shelter when I adopted Conan, we will be back to Meow to search for another boy to rescue. What impresses me most about this shelter is that they are more interested in finding the right home for their kitties, rather than just getting them out of the shelter.
