I had my doubts first when I joined Upwardly. There are many nonprofits who claim they're making a difference but in reality it's more talk than walk. Upwardly is not one of them. What they do is tangible and changes lives for better everyday.
My first mentee was a procurement professional from Ukraine who found a job in 6 months with a green energy company. At the graduation event, I met others who like my mentee had changed their life and were heading for a more successful future. What I saw that day was a proof of Upwardly's impact.
