Review for Missing In America-Veterans recovery Program, GLENDALE, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When I was informed that this Great Dishonor had been lingering for so long to so many I was Shocked and Immediately said "what can I do to Help"? To this day so many still haven't heard or did not pay attention to any of the information about this Tragedy. I like to think that WE all have been raised better than to let this to carry on. Every Volunteer from the Cemetery staff that do so much to accommodate us, to the Last Guard preparing to ride Off like a lone horse soldier as soon as the tears clear from his eyes, Have their Hearts and sense of Honor abiding in the appropriate order, Sense of Honor , Duty , Respect , Family, Justice, Volunteerism, Sacrifice and Love for a Brother or Sister who for whatever sad reason have left their Mortal Remains and no one has seen fit to Honor their sacrifice, This cannot continue !!! and yet every day a veteran dies and is put on a shelf with the others. We Need Money to Pay for the remains, Its just that simple, we can volunteer our time as well as money. From what I have seen none of us appears to be wealthy and thats why we need donations

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have Had the Unique Honor and view from the Pulpit at the Services, I cannot possibly begin to write what I feel when I see all of us together as a family, in unity to pay the respect, Honor and Love to OUR lost one

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

NOT use the word Cremains very often, as it depersonalises the Veteran a b it too much for my liking

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

To See The Love and the Honor

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

the Staff at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery of 2010 has Me very excited, These are dedicated and caring individuals, Though we are few in Iowa, there are many organisations who have helped in the past American Legion, Legion Riders, Patriot Guard, VFW, VV

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Put a Huge war chest together like that we could take care of the 6,000+ Known Veterans with Honor and the respect they deserve

Ways to make it better...

If we had more Volunteers and More Funding we have many vacancies open in Iowa

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funding , Cooperation from those holding the Remains of our family members, warehouses, Funeral Homes, Hospitols including the VA

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am Outraged that this Country, for which so many of us have sacrificed, Has some how found a way of letting this go on for over ONE HUNDRED years

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
